We had a fantastic time on our romantic escape! The location was superb, nestled in a peaceful area with breathtaking views of the surroundings. It was perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The holiday home was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, providing us with a cozy and comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome gift waiting for us, making us feel instantly at home.
Although our stay was wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. we had difficulty controlling the heating in the caravan.

The room at Cheviot View, Haggerston Castle was like a cozy nest, perfect for snoozing after a long day of adventures. The two bathrooms were a godsend, with free toiletries that made us feel pampered. We really felt at home and never had to fight for that precious shower time!
Personally, I found the color scheme a bit too flashy for my taste, but I get that others might love the vibrant vibe.

Amazing location with beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. Despite the rain, the surroundings were stunning.
Neglected, grubby accommodations with broken appliances and dirty furnishings. the overall atmosphere was gloomy and depressing.

We had an amazing new year break! the staff was friendly and the check-in process was smooth. the location was absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning view of the lake and the castle in the distance. It was the perfect setting for a quiet and relaxing getaway. the caravan was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing us with a comfortable stay. We also loved that we had a secure and gated balcony where our dog could enjoy some fresh air.
That some services on site required purchasing passes from Haven, which we found to be quite expensive. this didn't affect our holiday much as there were still plenty of activities and amenities included, such as the amusements and the Mash & Barrel.
